United Amputee Services
Association Inc.
A 100% Volunteer run, non-profit organization (IRS 501-3-c), with a
mission to provide support and education to amputees in South and Central
Florida. We offer hospital visitation, peer counseling and education to
individuals who have had an amputation
and to their families.

Association-UK
The Limbless Association
provides information, advice and support for people of all
ages who are
without one or more limbs. It has a nationwide network of volunteer
visitors (within the UK) who are all amputees themselves, offering support
and encouragement to prospective amputees, carers and those already trying
to come to terms with limb loss or deficiency.
The
Premier's Council on the Status of Person's with Disabilities
The Premier's Council is
made up of 15 volunteer Council Members. They represent a broad background
of cross-disability knowledge and a diversity of geographic locations in
Alberta. The Council Members meet throughout the year to discuss and
priorize disability-related issues.
